Something New: A Little Cup of Happiness

As I was sitting here for hours trying to come up with a name for my blog,  it occurred to me that I want this blog to be about the happiness in my life - nothing negative. Each cup (blog), will represent something good in my life, something that brings a smile to my face. Whether it is sharing a funny story, a great recipe, an amazing workout I did at the gym or a photograph that brings me joy;  I hope that by doing this, someone reading this will remember a little cup of happiness in their life. Well, to be honest, this blog is also to keep me entertained.

A few weeks ago, I came to a conclusion: I need to find a new hobby. The realization came to me as I was watching TV, flipping through a magazine and waiting for my boyfriend to come home (so I would I have someone to talk to), that there was something wrong with this picture. First of all, why was I watching TV when there are SO many other things, CREATIVE things, I could be doing.  Second, sitting on the couch waiting for my boyfriend makes me look desperate and slightly pathetic.. Ok, extremely pathetic. So here I am, creating a blog. I wouldn't say I am this overly exciting person or live a glamorous life, but I hope it will be as entertaining for you as it is for me.  This blog is to share the happy, funny, sometime chaotic things that happen in my life. Mainly, it is a reminder that the good outweighs the bad.

So when I am feeling like my dramatic, sometimes overanalyzing self and like it is the end of the world, a little cup of happiness will do the trick. Wish me luck, here's to something new.
